What is this catch can I keep hearing about?
A by product of a engine running is called blow by which is A fine vapor mist of oil.
A catch can does what it's called catches the vapors and allows it to pool in the can so it can be drained.
If a catch can is not in place the vapor is reintroduced into the engine to be burned up which can reduce performance and mpgs over the life of engine.

I just got back from my epic road trip adventure with my girlfriend and 2 boys (age 9 & 7). We drove from Phoenix, AZ to mid-Michigan, then to NYC to visit my sister, back to Michigan, then back to AZ on route 80 over the Rockies. I have to say that radar cruise control is AWESOME, not one hiccup. My new Toyo Proxes STIIs were awesome in rain, quiet on the highway and really good through the curves. I used iPads attached to the headrests and ALL the power and charging ports. This trucks amazing in every respect (2015 R/T AWD with every option except DVD). Hopefully Whipple will finish their 2015 software soon and I can get that put on, but with just a Volant, custom X pipe and Gibson mufflers I never had any situation where I really needed more power.

Billet Tech catch can installed, with documentation on how-to for the 3.6 Pentastar.

Temporary hoses (ordering braided next week) and plastic barb couplers (brass ones coming next week too)

Touched-up and wet-sanded out the wife's love-taps, clay bar, polished out swirls, sealed the paint. Tomorrow is a couple coats of carnauba and the engine bay, along with some pics

Very good job. And great wrightup. Now all you need is a CAI and you would be almost set.
CAI is next!

Thanks for your suggestions and tips.. The sent the wrong barb connectors, so I'm gonna have to redo the entire thing next week... but at least now I know what to do..

Really. The same thing happened to me with speedlogix. Well the good things ng is that you are close to them. I had to wait like a week or a bit more to get them.

Oh, they're gonna have to send them to me this time.. lol.

I didnt even think to look at the barb connectors or remember that they needed to be different sized...

BT catch can, 170* t-stat and I modified Hemifever tune to reflect new low speed and high speed fan requirements. Hoping to see some increase in HP and MPG.

I painted calipers and put a fresh coat of Plasti dip on my rims. Pics to come.
I need to put another coat on too. Going to try plastic grocery bag technique I saw on utube.
