I decided to save some money and do my own oil change... What eggheaded engineer put the oil filter at a friggin angle?! Anyway, Walmart didn't have pennzoil platinum so I got Valvoline Synpower and a Bosch distance plus filter!

D was starting to pull a little right.. steering wheel bounce a little... so I took her to the Dealer.. (who I actually like. They have a huge garage, and a huge dealership, and it's really well staffed and a brand new building..).. I live like 8 minutes away.

Went for an alignment, a tire rotation, and since I get free oil changes, had that done as well.

2 and a half hours later they bring me my D and I head home.. And it rides as smooth as silk.. and the steering wheel is as steady as can be.... and it no longer pulls to the right... now it pulls to the left. Wah-wahhhhh...

Back to the dealer, skip the line (theyre like 12 deep in 3 lanes to get in... Book an appointment, people!), back on the lift.. 45 mins later, drive home.

So actually, I got an oil change, a tire rotation, and two four-wheel alignments.

And that's what I did to my Durango today.

Tomorrow, wash and wax. Is it possible to over way your car?

The. End.

I caved. I couldn't wait until tomorrow. Washed and waxed at dusk.

Too funny. I love the rear taillight. I just washed the areas where the stripes went today. Tomorrow is detail day in the AM

Washed both my JGC and the Durango!
Must have taken a good part of your day! My back would probably be hurtin, but at least both cars look damn good I'm sure.

Got my OEM Spider Monkey's back from the rim shop yesterday (had one repainted). I put those on and de-badged the tailgate. I was itching for a wash and wax, but it started to rain.
Let's see some pics.

Newbie here - just bought a used 14 Durango AWD Limited w/ 11k miles - Love it so far. Ordering running boards and OEM slush mats today. Question, this model does not have a CD player - is that something I can add on? My local dealer said "I can't find it in the parts catalog so I don't think so..." Obviously not a sure-fire answer as to whether I can get one or not. (I don't know how to post a new thread to pose this question in, so if anyone wants to help me with that, please feel free to chime in!) Thanks!!

What dealership do you go to for service?

I thought I was gonna be lost without a CD player... now im glad I dont have it. What a pain. All those discs laying around... all that space used up on the dash or console... Just buy a portable and plug it in headphone out to dash in if you really think you need it.. . Or put yer music on a flash drive..

I drove mine to the airport and parked it while I went out of town on business last week. Haven't driven it in a while. Ah, it's so smooth and has power to spare. I forget about that when it's parked for long intervals. I know, that's not any kind of work or mod, but at least the old boy got a little workout in. Makes me look forward to when it's finally time to mod and refresh it. I'm just missing one important thing before I start. I can't remember what it's called... oh yeah, now I remember. Time. I have no time right now.

Arrigo Dodge Chrysler Jeep Sawgrass: New & Used Car Dealer Tamarac, FL | Pembroke Pines & Davie

I actually really like them. They've been very good so far.. the place is clean, the garage is huge.
Yes I have been there(Tamarac location). I live less than 5 minutes from them. Haven't had to go there for service on my Durango yet but will once I need my oil changed and will have them check everything. I checked out some wranglers in the past there and the place is massive.

Ha.. I live about that close too.. If you see me driving around, honk and waive. What color is your Durango?

I'll keep an eye peeled for you and your D.

Fyi.. If you ever have interest in a little DIY car stuff, check out Garage Yourself.com (no I don't work there.. I just thought it was cool)
