Just picked up yesterday with 3 miles on odo and the steering wheel is not centered. I have to keep it to the left to go straight. If its a feature, then i am not aware of it, and dont like this feature.

2nd I have seen many 2014 owners changing their regular halogen headlights into HID,s , I spent alot of time reading here and looks like in addition to 35w 4300k kit i would need warning cancelors, which i bought from amazon with link provided in one of the posts, andd i got my hid's from xenon depot 9012 bulbs.

Today i tried to change the bulbs and even with the warning cancelors the bulbs did not work. they turned on for 15 sec and then flickered, and then died. after that did not turn on. I hooked them with factory harness.

I a so confused, is there any one with 2015 DD who has done this process? am i missing something

Thanks .

^^^^what he said. Alignment should never be that off from the factory

X3 Bring it back it's aligned wrong
As for the headlights they may not work. The new wiring architecture has even been changed from the 14.

I had to have mine aligned when new as well. For HIDs, on my 2014, I had to wire in a relay harness as well as cancellers and even a capacitor on the relay switch to get it working properly. There was a lot of trial and error, I almost gave up, but I'm betting if you get a relay harness and capacitor for it you'll have better luck.

Thanks guys, I took it to dealer and he just took it in right away and after 2 1/2 hours i was told its done, and tow adjustment was out from factory.... and now its perfectly straight.

I ordered this from xenon depot Mopar HID Wire Harness Kit

I hope this will work, My previous vehicle Jeep GC had factory hid's and i am so used to that light. If that does not work then i would have to buy whole HID headlight assembly off of e bay, thats like 400 one side.

Mirage85... where did you ground the relay and where was the positive under the hood, since battery is under the seat.
and can you explain a little bit about capacitors? some posts have showing capacitors going into relay, bought from radio shack... would i be needing them in addition to this mopar harness?

will there be 2 positive connections wires going to batter and 2 negative connections in this set relay harness setup? please shed some light in this relay harness process.
Oh and while i was doing the hid's the other day the DRL also went away, so the HID bulbs didnt work and at the same time DRL didnt work too. I hope i dont lose DRL's with this relay.
Thanks for help friends.

I can't comment on the DRL's, they shouldn't be affected by installing HIDs, check the setting for them in the touch screen system.

For the harness, I can't comment on whether or not you'll need an addition capacitor or not, they says its designed for Mopar Canbus systems, so I would think they have that sorted out. You'll know when you install it if the relay is buzzing or not. If it buzzes, get a capacitor on it as well, if its not, then you're good to go.

If you look under the hood on the passenger side, you'll see battery terminals with rubber boots covering them, one is red one is black. These are here for jump starting the car, but I just loosened them with a wrench, cut a notch in the wiring harness o-ring connector, and snapped it onto the post then tightened them back down.

As for the factory HID comment you made, I was told by my dealer that if you don't have factory HIDs, they wouldn't be able to get it to work properly. But, you have a limited and have the DRLs and HIDs were optional, so I'm betting they can make it work for you. Mine is an SXT where neither were options on the 2014.

Hopefully this will help some, I didn't do a write up when I did it but I know someone else did:

I link a video at the bottom that will show you what the capacitor on the relay is for.

Mirage85...

Thank you for all the help and guidance , I am waiting for the Mopar relay harness... its gonne get here on Tuesday , and i will give it a shot and let you know... hopefully + outcome.

Now.. should i connect both sides of factory bulb sockets to the harness ? or just one side? I saw on u tube where one side is plugged for signal and other is left alone. Thanks

Most harnesses only connect to one factory bulb harness plug. That looks like from the description that you are getting two harnesses, one for each bulb, therefore you'd be plugging into each. My harness is only connected to the passenger side bulb socket, the drivers side is left unplugged and tucked inside the headlight housing where its protected.

Let me know when it comes in what you end up with, I'm quite curious as to how it hooks up. There's more than one way to skin a cat.

Alright friends.. I have a result.

xenon depot did every thing to get those harnesses to me , that i got em one day early... today...as soon as i opened the package , off i went to the durango.

Yes they were 2 harnesses, one for each side and both had + and - connection for each harness.and i was sent capacitor with each harness. ..It was not hard to figure out the connection looking at the diagram sent with HID kit, previously.

and after all was connected... bulbs came right ON... and did not flicker OR anything. after all they call it MOPAR harness. My DRL's are ok no effect on them. I got the 43k color temp, but i actually wanted 5k color ...they dont come in 5k, higher up was 6k which i think is lil more blueish than i like. it was day time and cloudy , so real test would be tonight when its dark. but they are much brighter then stock bulbs.

Now while i was at it, i put in v3 tritons amber signals... which gave awesome results.now my signals look similar to jeep GC with those HID and LED signals. just awesome.

I am so into it now, that today after getting done and being happy , i ordered those xtreme ultinon philips LED fog bulbs.
H11 Philips LED bulb | H16 Philips LED bulb | H8 Philips LED Fog bulb

They will look awesome.... any word on how to change fog bulbs.. how to...?
Again thanks to all and specially Mirage85. Help was much appreciated.
