Today......while fighting through a kidney stone attack......my 14 year old son and I tackled the thermostat and the B.T. catch can. While we were at it, we broke out the Dremel and trimmed up the stock intake snorkel and re-installed it. I've sent my factory and current installed 93 octane tunes back to Sean at Hemifever and anxiously await his reply.

Boy oh boy does the Diablosport make a difference! It finally feels like the car I was expecting before I bought my first HEMI. I've been pretty underwhelmed to this point with the performance of the 360HP 5.7, but now, it's a whole different story! YES!!!

Can anyone give me any pointers on the part-throttle shift settings? I didn't really want to fiddle with them yet, not knowing exactly what it changes.

Good times!

INTAKE MANIFOLD AND TUNING ARE THE 2 KEY DIFFERENCES IN RAM AND DURANGO...And no Ram intake wont fit!

Steve, do you have any advice/input on adjustments for part throttle shift settings?

I managed to get all of my mods here and installed in time to enjoy them for their intended purpose today. To make me happy on my birthday! :)

Ask Sean to tweak those for you.

Great upgrades! The tstat and hemifever tune is the next thing on my list then a corsa exhaust...those with the tstat, did you see a noticeable difference?

How does the 6.1 intake affect the TQ curve. One would think that if it only had a positive influence they would have used it.
It pulls harder on top end...and reason they dont use it on 5.7 is because of this i imagine. They who have swapped 'em claim 10-12 HP gain with stock throttle body and more (up to 10 more)with larger TB that can be fitted with the 6.1's intake. Although I have been unable to find any comparing dyno #'s. Plus its a WAY KOOLER LOOKING INTAKE THAN OUR PLASTIC JUNK ONE.

^^^but also the 6.1 intake is more likely to get heat soaked being aluminum.
Regardless, the intake of choice would be the 6.4L one with its dual stage runners which give you the low end tq and top end pull.
Although it won't fit the 5.7..:-?:-?. My son drives a Nasty 6.1 SRT Magnum and has never had heat soak problem. Unlike our 03' Cobra which definitely does get heat soaked since its Blown. I doubt a normally aspirated 6.1 would Ever experience heat soak loss.

Only reason its not used is clearly stated its all top end! We dont need top end in our big ass Suv's we need Bottom end off the line Grunt

I just want to drop in a new Ram HD 6.4L Hemi with my same mods. I think it would be perfect! I don't need the rip/snarl of and SRT in my family wagon......I need the TQ and the everyday driveability.
