Guys, I'm thinking about having my chrome/black wheels painted red where the wheels are black. I have tried to photoshop it to see what it would look like but I am not having good luck. What do you guys think. Below is a picture of my truck.

Hmmmmm... Can u try plasti dipping them 1st to see if you like the color? IMHO, I think red truck, red caliper covers and red on the wheels might be a bit of overkill. I personally prefer some contrast..

I would look into powder coat over paint. It resist chips and scratches a lot better.

On a scale of 1-10 how good are your Photoshop skills?

PM me if you want me to take a crack at it...

I say be different and go for the red. The blacked out, or "murdered out" look is played out. IMO.

Where's the picture of your "Truck"? All I see is picture of your red " D". I think red would be too much IMO.

Yeah, red painted rims, not so much..

sorry for the tough love.

i dont want to paint the entire wheels red. Just the spots where the wheels are already painted black. I really like the touch of Chrome on the wheels. just to clarify what I want to do..

Well, I guess it goes back to my Escalades, I always called them Trucks because they were. I guess I should call it an SUV.
Naw, The R/T IS a truck all day long - and a mighty fine one at that!.

Well....:-?:-?:-?....I'm coming from a 11' F350 King Ranch which is a Truck...and my R/T "D" is by any means. NOT A TRUCK. even vehicle registration doesn't classify it as such.
It's a ford, is that really considered a truck? The word truck when heard implies toughness, dependability, and power. I believe all fords lack in one of those categories.

Well it was built much better than anything Dodge can build. You must have never been able to afford one to make that UNEDUCATED comment. Heck, I've had my D for a year and my '11 King Ranch books for same. Dodge depreciation is a lot more than Ford. For a "REASON". So a Toyota or Mazda pickup Truck isn't a truck because it has a 4 banger?
