In the market for a Durango

Hi,

I am in the market for a current generation Durango. I'll probably end up with something used like a 2011 or 2012 with a 6cyl. I just started my research so I figured I would come to the Durango forum and ask the experts. Anything major to look out for? Is there any common problems with the 3 generation? Hows the towing capacity? Does having the factory tow package make a difference?

You may want to look at 2012's or 13's some of the early Bugs are worked out in those models and late 2012's and 13's have the 6 speed transmissions which arent light years different than the 5 speed but much better.
The Tow pkg from the factory is definitely worth it as it includes heavy duty cooling and alternator etc.
