Hello, I recently bought an 02 Durango SXT 4.7 with the intention of fixing some suspension issues and selling it. Today, I went to start it and the security light was blinking rapidly, along with the flashing I can hear a relay clicking rapidly. I have tried cycling the key on both the drivers door and back hatch with no success. Can I disable the system? Or how would I go about troubleshooting this? I did not get a key fob when I bought the vehicle.
Security light, cannot deactivate.
