Uconnect 14.25.05 update available for download

Anyone have there phone stop working after doing the update?

I did the update last week, and now I can't hear any calls through the speakers.

The phone still connects fine and looks like it's working (I can access the phonebook and everything from uconnect), but the audio doesn't come through the speakers.

I even deleted the phone and then re-added it, but no change.

This is driving me f'n nuts! I finally got the files loaded on to a formatted 16gb cruzer scandisk usb stick and now when I try to load it into my DD it goes through a few steps, blacks out for a moment and then I get this message...."System product mismatch, stick contains VP3 but target is VP4. Please remove USB stick to reset" I do that and everything works as it did prior to the attempt, so I'm good that way but I have no idea what VP3 or 4 is and how to correct so I can get the update done correctly.

HELP!!

I have nav as part of my system.

My VIN # won't work so at first I was using the one that was posted pretty deep into the this thread and that got me the RA3-14-25-5.exe file which was giving me the error message. I then used the VIN # that was given on the third post of this thread.. (EC455640 is a valid last 8 digits VIN to download the update for 8.4AN/RA4 system.), and that gave me the RA4-14-25-5.exe file which I thought would take care of the problem. No such luck, I'm still getting the same VP3 & 4 error message.

I called Uconnect tech support and spoke with a self admitted tech nerd , "John" who was really really helpful. He forced my "invalid VIN" # through and then emailed me the new update. Once he did that he talked me through extracting the file correctly and loading it to my formatted usb stick. He even offered to wait the 15 -20 minutes for me to go outside and load the update into my D. I didn't want to tie him or my office phone line up any longer so I loaded the file and let it update on my drive home from work.


So far so good although I haven't gone through all the areas the update was supposed to fix. The most important to me was the jumpy backup camera image but I haven't used it since the new file was loaded. I'll report back with any issues.

Just hung up the phone with UConnect & the update is not for the 8.4AN according to them. Just FYI. I was trying to download it for our 2014 Citadel & I called them after getting the "invalid VIN".

Call back and ask to talk to someone who knows what they're talking about!

I have a 2014 Citadel, my VIN worked, I downloaded and installed the update with no issues.
