Reading the past half-dozen posts, it strikes me:
There is no one way.
How each person does his/her thing is unique, and the rest of us can look at it and say "yeah, um, I might do this or that differently" and thus the creative juices flow..
The times that the Carlisle class structure meant that we judged the oceans of essentially identical Challengers at Carlisle brought this home to me. We're all artists on the canvas of our vehicle, and we all learn from each other...
At Moparpalooza the dodgedurango.net team had a front-row seat to watch the judging.. and Moparpalooza was somewhat of a different set of folks compared to what we've hung out with in the past.. but beyond the "OK, that's just hideous!" there was a lot of discussion about "hey that is kind of neat" and "oh man that doesn't work" .. and we all left with some ideas about what we might do or definitely won't do to our rides.
of course, I'll do nothing with MY ride (well, maybe floormats), but I have to hold up the bottom end here
