Hello all,

I just bought a 2014 Durango RT and while driving home I kept getting a warning about the speed limit. Please tell me there is a way to disable this. I tried searching but couldn't find anything. Please help a new owner :)

Thanks!!

Yeah, it is in the settings somewhere.. I think the top level of the Nav settings.. you can turn it off or change the amount-over-the-limit..

That is silliness ...Not that I ever go above speed limit

I've never seen this warning. I believe that I would have by now unless it's set ridiculously high. How fast were you going when you got the message?

Perhaps he was going:

Yes, it is in the nav settings. On roads where nav knows the speed limits, you can enable/disable a warning. You can also select how much over the speed limit you are going before receiving the warning. When I first got my d I was playing with settings and tried it out. I disabled it at my first stop!

Hope you found the settings already by now. They're all right! It's on the Nav Settings under safety assist

I never received this warning in the Chicagoland area and never disabled anything... interesting
It may not even be enabled. I was breaking all kinds of speed limits while breaking in mine and never heard the warning. Until I went into the nav settings and set the reminder myself. Only after the update to 14.05.03 did it glitch a bit and changed the reminder to just 5 MPH over vs the 10 MPH over I originally had it set for.
