Dodge emblem on grill removal

Has anyone had any luck on removing the emblem on the grill? I am wanting to replace it with an r/t badge. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

It has 2 clips that slide in you may have to use a small screwdriver and get in there to pop the tabs on the clips.

Did u find a R/T badge that will snap into the OEM slots, or a stick on one?

Just use a stick on one from the new Dart available on ebay

Or put the R/T emblem on the other side of the grille. Would look good...maybe too busy. Just a thought.

My red r/t badge is on the opposite side of the grille so I didn't have to remove the dodge. Pics are posted in different thread here. Will try and link it.

Stick on. I have since moved it to the other side of the grille with a larger one. I removed the "Dodge" emblem, moved it over a bit and reinstalled it with 3m tape and then installed the R/T.

I am looking to do this on my D pretty soon..I was able to get the factory DODGE emblem off without breaking anything. I just hope the MOPAR badge is the same size (roughly) so the mounting plate doesn't show.

The MOPAR emblem will cover where original Dodge was. I used a 2 part epoxy to attach mine.

The original Dodge clips on grill but it is on a flat surface the size of the emblem.look at yours and you'll see.

Yep, what he said. It'll look pretty strange without anything there at all. I am debating with mine, I have the HEMI emblem that came off the side of my 2012 RAM..shaved the "5.7 Liter" off the bottom and buffed off the black paint. As stated as well, some of the mounting plate is going to show on each side of any emblem but a stock DODGE one.

I'm still debating...here is what I am thinking of doing, it's the HEMI emblem off the RAM I got rid of, I shaved the "5.7 Liter" off the bottom and scuffed out the black overlay.
