New guy here from the Pacific Northwest. My wife and I just traded in our '08 Tahoe Hybrid this past weekend for a '14 Dodge Durango R/T.
Been a life long GM guy (w/ the exception of a couple of Wranglers) until I purchased my current daily driver, a '06 Chrysler 300 SRT8. I am a "car guy" and get bored w/ vehicles quickly, but I absolutely fell in love w/ my SRT and have kept it longer than any other vehicle. Had a GC as a loaner from the dealership when the SRT was getting some work done and was really impressed. While I love the GC, with 3 young children the Durango's 3rd row was a necessity. Plus, I love the more agressive styling of the Durango R/T. Originally wanted to get a deal on a '13, but the refreshed styling and new interior, along w/ the new 8-Speed were to good to pass up.
I enjoy personalizing my vehicles, so I look forward to getting ideas and help here along the way. Going to start small by tinting the front windows to match, and either ordering red caliper covers or painting them myself. Running a CAI, aftermarket exhaust and Diablo Sport Predator tune on my SRT, so these mods will probably follow on the R/T. The Predator tune on my SRT is absolutely amazing! Have had many chips/tuners over the years (Hypertech, Superchip, Banks, etc) on the majority of my vehicles and I have never been more impressed than w/ the Predator. I wouldn't even consider another tuner for a Hemi.
