Just got back from the dealer (Thompson Automotive in Baltimore) where I placed my order. $47250(no trade in) out the door for an factory order RT with the bellow specs. Price on the car itself is 43962 (including 2K in rebates). They are also throwing in 4 free oil changes. Should get in 6-8 weeks. Super excited. What do you all think about the price I got?
The link below is the window sticker for a R/T with my exact specs but located in Detroit.

Congrats on the purchase!!!
So what is YOUR price? I got a little confused by your post. Are you paying $47250 or $43962?

So if I received that email today..and the link I click on that it provides tells me that it is in the "trim" stage...I wonder how long it takes from that stage to being finished. Getting it from Detroit to my dealer in southern Indiana should go quick though! Perhaps I will have the RT "D" in two weeks?

Congrats to all of you
STEVE

Velodrome, your estimate is right on if it mirrors my experience. All told I was 2 days shy of 5 weeks to a similar distance in Ohio. I flew through the stages on VOTS and once it got to "Shipment" it took about a week to arrive at the dealer. Good Luck!

So today, I check the VOTS system from the email I had yesterday and here is what it says..
CURRENT VEHICLE STATUS : Shipment
Your vehicle is being shipped. Thank you for your purchase!
SO-Looks like once you see that it is in the trim stage, you should be in shipping status the next day.
Ordered my Dodge slush mats yesterday and will wait on deciding what mat to get for the rear cargo area..(I have always used weathertech mats and with the edge lip on them they have saved my but when I spilled my bucket that was carrying quart containers of rear diff fluid that leaked everywhere on my way to a race at Road America..smelled so bad I had to pull over and clean it up!)

That car itself was $43962 but with taxes titles and dealer fees the total came out to $47250.

Wow, that looks like a really loaded RT. Aside from appearance, did you miss any other tech related options? It doesnt look like you have the fold seats, how does someone get into the back when ti doesnt have the flip forward seats? 47K looks like a steal for that vehicle!
