My old tires were done, so I took the opportunity to buy new wheels and tires. I'm on a budget so nothing too fancy, but I love how they turned out. The wheels are G-FX OR9 20x8.5's in matte black while the tires are 265/50R20 Nitto NT 420S's with a V speed rating (149mph.) I also picked up a set of black lug nuts and locks for them. I've had them on less than a week, but I really like them so far.

I'll be putting snow tires on my stock rims at some point.

Tip that front bumper down and tighten the bolts back up.

Lose that front license plate thing.

Add black rails/nerf bars to cover the weld lip and clean/finish up the sides.

Looks good. I like the two-tone.

Haha Most of that's already on my list! I'm actually looking for a non-SXT bumper at the pick and pull next time I go and I have some plans for all the trim pieces. By law I'm required to have a front license plate, though I may remove it anyway? I've never liked it, but like tickets less! I have something planned for the sides, but don't think I'll put steps back on (I used to have running boards and took them off), we'll see. I'm back full swing working on my D, so I hope to address many of these before Carlisle.

Nice. 17's to 20's, do you feel much difference in cornering?

Being the SXT model, it had 16" wheels before so it was quite a jump. I haven't done any hard cornering yet, but so far they seem the same or better when driving. I just haven't done anything sporty or aggressive since putting them on.

You mentioned going to color matched bumpers, but I think the black wheels look good with your current theme. Try photoshopping your truck with matching bumper covers and see what you think before spending the money. It's hard to get a good look out of black wheels on a light colored vehicle. Just my opinion of course, but throw your running boards back on and you'll have a winner! Looks nice!

The current plan is to move to matte black bumpers, fender flares, and rocker panels instead of the dark gray SXT trim in order to match the wheels better and give it a more aggressive look while also bringing it together color wise. I don't have the running boards anymore but may see about some nerf bars at some point, though probably not this year. I'm still working out the details, but I'll whip up a Photoshop mockup ahead of time. I hope to have this done by Carlisle, but we'll see.
