Even though I didn't attend to this event, I must say thanks to you Tom and to all of those who attended because we who couldn't be there can enjoy it through your amazing pics and videos. They also made me put this event on my to do list, so my hat is of to all of you!

Good shots John!

Pres, Indy and BOD. Tom definitely deserves and gets my vote for 3rd Quarter Spotlight Award. If you've already voted for 3rd Quarter, then he gets my vote for 4th Quarter.

At about 8:30 I saw a Durango pass by and I'm surprised that Pres or Indy didn't throw himself on the windshield to get the membership.

Yes :!:, Very cool net exposure for the DOC and BOD. Tom did an awesome job!

Well done!!

It's important to understand what's going on here. I said it earlier in different words.

This is synergy between many different groups of people and it's driven by giving as opposed to taking. Clearly the Jefferson North folks really stepped up for this event and the Dodge marketing and engineering staffs, along with the Redline folks, had an attitude of "let's make this great."

For the DOC's part, we showed up with knowledgeable, enthusiastic owners and a wide variety of vehicles. We probably got more than we gave, but we brought our best game and it was much appreciated. We weren't hunting for swag and we didn't behave like middle-school students and steal everything that wasn't bolted down.

Me, I played a supporting role. My primary goal was to form a relationship with JNAP and there's still work to do there (though I think we've made a great start.) Others in the DOC worked hard to get us hotel space, parking space at Woodward, contacts and relationships with Redline, Modern Mopars, and dozens of other things that made it a great event.

The hard work ahead for all of the DOC is to keep this spirit alive.

 And that my fellow members is why we made Tom K the liaison with the Plant Manager
Great job by all!

Hey guys, just got home on Thursday. I stopped by your parking area on Saturday after lunch but everyone was gone! One member told me you went down to 13th where the Chrysler/Dodge lot was. We used to be in the same lot, now we're next to them.

Anyhow, maybe next year we can try again.

We actually got to park in the lot right next to all the Crossfires by the school and had hoped to run into you down there.
Was my D still in the lot at the paint store?
Yes, lets try again next year.

James,

As Pres mentioned, we were parked right there in the School lot where the Crossfire club was located. We were guests of the great folks at RedLineDodge.com

Sorry we missed you! Looking forward to catching up next time.

In case anyone hasn't seen the article yet from the plant, Alexandra just emailed it to me today.

Good afternoon John,

Thank you for providing me with your personal business card at Jefferson North Assembly Plant last Friday.

As promised, included in this e-mail is an ?accumulation of goodies? from the event.

The reformatted Word document, ?Dodge Durango enthusiasts welcomed back ?home? to JNAP? story is attached to this e-mail. This story was published on our Internal Branding website called ?The Scoop,? as well as Chrysler Group?s Human Resources website for employees to read.

Also included in this e-mail is a link to the blog entry and short video-clip that we :edited: created. The blog is part of the Chrysler Group?s Media website and Youtube account. (Blog Link: http://blog.chryslerllc.com/blog.do?id=1513&p=entry)

It was an absolute pleasure meeting the members of the Durango Owner?s Club. It's not often that we get to meet some of our companies most supportive and avid consumers. We truly appreciate the club?s desire to tour JNAP and meet the friendly faces who craft our vehicles to perfection.

We look forward to seeing DOC next year!

Best Regards,

Alex
