Hey guys do any of you know of a problem with power seats where, after a while (years), they get extra movement in them so, when you brake, they slide forward just a tad bit?

Is there a way to fix it; because it bugs the hell out of me?

I have ram 17. The driver power seat rock when stoping and going. I had the rails changed 2 times and it fixe it for a while. 1 or 2 month. I know what is the problem. It is when you go all the way to the end of any ajustment in seat position that the damage and the play is created. The bolts that travel on the longs screws get kind of strip when they reach the end and block. After that, you get that rocking, unless you block all ajustment all the way to the end of any position. They would need to chose harder metal for the long screws and travaling bolts and/or have an electronic sensor that block the traveling nuts befor they reach the end instead of having it stop by forcing the end of the long screw. Will they admit or
fix? Why would they? They just need to say ''we know'' or ''we will replace forever'' for 1 month of joy and 2 month of garage diagnostic and words and another trip to garage for the fix..... we would.need a collective lawsuit and I don t know how to do that. I am certain that if they put that on the tv....everybody is going to say they have the same....do it once and the damage will be done. The loose is between the long screw and traveling nuts that has bin damage from going all the way to the end.
