No offense intended in the least, but the M1 can be purchased brand-new from several vendors for less than $450 + S&H. Sent PM with offer. :)

Post a link for us to see. It'll help others price used M1s in the future.

Usually it's the 2 barrel models not TB models that are under $450.

And in the ballpark:

Don't forget that Jeg's and Summit Racing will price-match. :)

Price on the B&G PCM?
Added the PCM to the list above but it won't work for your engine. MUST be a 5.9 with security

pics of the LEDs and that fan assembly should bolt right into my truck. will it come with all the mounting stuff needed?
See the links above for pics. The mounting for the fan is there, but I wasn't real happy with it? could have been done a lot cleaner. I believe Rob got some brackets to mount his and, if I was keeping it, I'd get some of those.

Yes but DO YOU HAVE THE FACTORY ALARM? If not, you can't use it.

Does the FM TB come with everything needed for installation?

Are the TBs the same throughout the years, sensors, sensor locations, sensor connection plugs?

If so, PM me. I'm interested.
Yes they're the same

No, no factory alarm (as far as I know.) That's a very strange requirement! To be clear, I have to have the alarm to use this PCM?

If you have the alarm system, when you lock the doors either with the fob or with the switch, there there'll be a red security light blinking on the dash.

When a PCM is used in a D with the factory alarm option, there's a setting that gets set in the PCM and, once it's set, it'll only work in another vehicle with the security option. If you don't have the alarm system and you use a PCM that's been used in a security option vehicle, it'll start and then shut right down. Someone with the security option can install a PCM from a non-security vehicle and it'll work, but then that particular PCM will only be able to work in another security option vehicle from then on.

If you really don't have the alarm, you might as well give up finding a used PCM. Most Durangos have the alarm. There have been a few people who tried to find one for their non security vehicles and had a lot of difficulty locating one.

Willing to bet that the 2001 R/T came standard with the factory security in it.

Well, whaddaya know? Turns out I do have the factory security system. :)

So? assuming I can make a deal on this (or another) M1, would I notice $150 worth of benefit from this PCM? Sorry if that's a noob question, but I'm a noob when it comes to these trucks.
