My buddies up at CarTunes Racing are putting on my M1 intake manifold and hooking up my fuel/air and oil temperature gauges Thursday at 9am sharp. It wasn't selling so I figured eh, what the hell, I'll put it on. Just in time for my 450 mile road trip up the North Shore of Minnesota, Rainy River, Boundary Waters and down through the iron range back home to Grand Rapids. That'll give me plenty of time to play around with it. I'll be ordering an SCT Tuner next time I get paid.

Congrats! Increase the idle about 100RPMs until you get your tuner to handle any low end bog. Power should come up in the mids right away.

How about a nice set of chrome rims for that ride? I know of a great set for sale. :bugeyed:

It's programmed into the computer.

There's a way to slightly increase the RMPs via the TB linkage. A tiny bit goes a long way.

With that said, not everyone gets a low end bog. Could just be a 5.9L thing. Your little stocker-rimmed, slow 5.2 may be just fine. Since it's slow regardless of what you do, you should at least make it fast-looking by getting a new set of chrome wheels.
