710-HP 2021 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Is Coming for One Year Only
This three-row Hellcat with the 710-hp supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi V-8 is for the family-oriented gearhead.
But man I love it and if I could afford a 80k SUV this would be it
As long as dealerships don't get away with obscene markups on these (doubtful), I'll probably end up pulling the trigger on one. That's not necessarily a reason to fret over, though; Dodge says it will make as many Durango Hellcats as needed to meet customer demand.
Yep, that’s what I’m thinking. If i wasn't going to take a bath on my 18 DDSRT I'd consider one, but for now I'll stick with mine. If I get really bored I'd likely swap for a used trackhawk since I never use the 3rd row like I thought I would.
What is a DDHCT?I told folks the DDHCT will be built and I would love to trade my SRT in if I had the money to get it and will take a hit on my SRT. Why didn't they put dual pipes on it.
Sadly, this will probably be the case. It's what happened with the Demon, correct? Can't blame the dealers for trying to make some extra money. But I will blame whoever forks over the additional cash.$80K
With Dealership Admin. fees on a 1 year run Hellcat Durango, you will not be able to touch one of these for under $100K.
.
I'm assuming Dodge Durango HellcatWhat is a DDHCT?
When the ordering process opens up I will report backI feel like this is Dodge hedging their bet to avoid what happened with the Trackhawk, considering there are still 2018s sitting on dealer lots because they grossly overestimated demand. They're definitely going for a pull marketing strategy this time, using the one model year run to leverage demand.
This is the kicker though:
As long as dealerships don't get away with obscene markups on these (doubtful), I'll probably end up pulling the trigger on one.
Please do. I plan on shopping around a bunch of dealerships in my area when the order banks open up. Hopefully there are still a few scrupulous ones around. When the ordering process opens up I will report back
