Cell Phone holders for the DSRT?

Other than the vent clip on phone holders, I was wondering what everyone in here has for their phone holder? The vent attachments block my air and make my phone get either too cold or hot depending if i have AC or heater on for whatever season it is. I need something that also doesn't block my Connect screen etc. Reply with pics and info if you can. I need to find something that works. Our dashes in the DSRT are almost too soft of a material for anything to stick to it long term. Thanks in advance!

Did you just ask the same question over at the Corvette Forum?

LOL. I use a cup holder phone holder. Several are available on eBay and elsewhere, and weathertech sells one. They work pretty well, though one could argue that if you use Android Auto or CarPlay, and have paired your phone with bluetooth, you really don't need it. Since I sometimes don't bother to plug in the phone, I find it handy. I have one in each of our 4 cars, not all of which have Android Auto or Carplay.....

I use the one in the first link below in all my cars and I am very happy with it, but I also noticed they have a newer version (second link) which I think is better but didn't try before.

Let me preface this by saying I'm EXTREMELY picky about these type of accessories in general. I picked this one up from Amazon a few weeks ago, and I love it. I have it clipped into the vent on the right hand side of the steering wheel, and it's the perfect position/angle, and the perfect distance from the phone charger to reach:

This is what I use in my SRT, and would recommend it (in fact, I think I saw the recommendation here):

Remember IM trying to stay away from vent type holders.. I learned from my last DD that the vent clip puts weight on the fins and blocks my AC and heat. Our dashes in the DD are unique in a way where its hard to find the right phone holder. Thats my opinion though.

    Don't use vent mounted holders.

Your vents will ultimately break. You will regret it. BTDT.

Lol, same here. And if I need the cupholder for my water bottle, the small space right in front works just as well.
I didn't realize this was such a popular accessory.
