    DDSRT catch can question

I just ordered a UPR billet catch can and it requires permanently removing the plastic cover on the PCM to mount the damn thing. I'm concerned about this as the PCM sits right under the heat extractor vent on the hood and would get wet when it rains. Does anyone else share my concern about this? Anyone know of any catch can mounting solutions that are better?

I have the JLT Performance brand and it sits in the center without affecting the cover.

Didn't have to knotch it at all. Made the little extension plates shown. Moved the clips on the cover to match. The extensions raise it just enough to clear.

I see...so you made extensions for the plastic cover to sit higher...very smart!

I'm in the same catch can boat as you. You may be ok removing it, but Dodge/SRT put it there for a reason. I have a elite engineering can from my Silverado that I will reuse. They have a mount that hangs it off the passenger side head.

UPR cover brackets are $29.... I made mine for less than $5 with Home Depot galvanized frame strap angle.

I have to second the JLT. Took 15 mins to install and works great. Plus it takes advantage of the existing & unused bolt on the top front of the block. https://www.jlttruecoldair.com/jlt-3...assenger-side/
