    Interior lumination/door ajar light

At some time or another over the last week, the interior lights in my Durango stopped lighting up when the doors are opened or even when I turn the lumination knob to full power.

I need to find the door light switches as there might be a culprit somewhere.

    Anyone else experience this?

You may want to check the fuses. There should be a fuse for the interior lights. Odds are that it's blown.

You'll find the fuse box under the hood on the left.

If they are flashing for an instant with the illumination dial then it's possible the arc is jumping the broken contact in the blown fuse or there is corrosion on the fuse terminals. Troubleshooting electrical gremlins is hard to do over the internet. The only other possibility that I can think of is a bad ground or some DIY wiring that has gone wrong. But check the fuse first.
