    14 Durango noise

Hi everyone, I have a 2014 DD Sxt rallye V6 AWD that is making a bad noise. This is been happening for about a year, but is really driving me crazy. Took it to the dealer with warranty and of course... noise is not covered in warranty.
The noise is when breaking or accelerating
Have any of you experience something similar? Or do you know what it might be?

Is the noise more pronounced inside or outside the vehicle? Does the noise increase, or lesson with speed? Kind of sounds like something is rubbing inside somewhere. If you are rolling down the road, just coasting, can you still hear it?

    Don,
The noise comes from the outside, but can be heard from the inside. It only does it when pulling into a driveway or leaving or going through a bump at really low speed (5mph or less). There is no noise at cruising speeds and when going through bumps at high speed. I noticed the noise when the body bounce back and forth and not when the body moves side to side.

I know what that is thanks to the video you posted.

Did you, or someone else Jack up the truck and do some work? That sounds exactly like what mine did when I bent a metal bracket under the driver's side by placing a Jack stand in the wrong place. It only made the noise at low speeds, with stopping and going, and over certain bumps.

Check this thread out for more info, and how to fix it:
