    2017 R/T loooooooong crank

Just had it in to the dealer (twice) for MIL. They replaced the fuel vent module near the fuel tank fill/gas cap (capless) area. Now more than several times a day it cranks really long before it starts; intermittently. It seems random and doesn’t do it every time, but it does seem to be getting more frequent. Any ideas what it could be before I take it back? Thx!

Sounds similar to my 2018RT which was replaced under the lemon law. Dealer had no clue.

Good luck. I hope your dealer is better than mine. They replaced both fuel pumps and it did nothing.

I have read other members with this issue....check the injectors. They might be leaking down after you turn the vehicle off. Does it happen a set time after your shut it off? Mine did it when it was off for 60-90 minutes.

Does it have smoke or smell from the exhaust?

No smoke, no smell. Seems to do it after it sits longer. Dealer has been spectacular with all our vehicles so far.
