    Tire pressure

Who here follows factory tire pressure that is on door jamb? 41lbs just seems high.

I run 40 psi in my 2004 2nd gen. Works well.

Have you checked your owners manual.

No mention of year or trim level on your part...so how about providing that info?

01 slt plus. 4.7. mine also says 35 & 41. I usually follow what on door jamb, just seemed a little high for vehicle it's size. My company car says run 40 front and back, but that is a2018 ram 1500.

I always follow the door jam tire pressure specs. I figure they've done the testing to know what is best.
But I do remember Ford had a low rear tire pressure rating on their Explorer resulting in tire blow-outs at highway speeds...I think it might have been below 30 psi.
