    Unhappy Flow Master 50

    Hello all!

First post guys...I have a 2007 Chrysler Aspen with a 5.7L HEMI that I just installed a Flowmster 50 on and removed the resonator. Sounds good but I have a perplexing, annoying problem. Under load she sounds great, but if I level off and just feather the pedal I get this fluttering, fast popping sound. More flutter than pop actually.

The resonator had a small hole in it and I removed it thinking that was the problem. Muffler shop checked welds etc, and there are no leaks. I don't hear any whistling.

I'm not feeling or hearing any misses or hesitation from the engine. It has only 74k on her and has never been abused.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance
