Certainly nothing lost on having that "Ford" Logo in the background. We all know where the styling cues came from, now it's official.

That's an Navagalade. No, wait, Escalagator? Looks kinda like the new Chevy/GMC Expedition, too.

Oh, I think its nice too. I'm just saying they all look the same again. Like wheneveryone copied the Grand Cherokee.

    Aspen

So, what's the deal? Is it just a fancy Generation 2 Durango?

In a word, yes! Chrysler has done what they did to the Caravan. Tarted it up for those people who want to buy one with the Chrysler badge rather than Dodge. Just like Ford and Lincoln and Chevy and Cadillac.
Hanson front bumper, Kennesaw rear bumper, Ranch9000xl's w/ remote, Detroit Locker, lots of other goodies

I don't want to be a jerk, but I'm going to be. LOL There's a huge difference between a Crapolet and a Cadillac! IMO

As for the Aspen, I don't think it's the most attractive truck/car/whatever there's.

Sorry Mike, the SUV's Caddy makes are just reskinned Tahoes/Suburbans and Avalanches. They're much fancier, but deep inside they're the same Crapolet (as you stated.)
As for the Aspen, it's very nice if that's what you want (not for me really.) DC has made its point clear and proven it as to date the Aspen is outselling the new D 3 to 1. So it's true people will buy it because of the fancier nameplate and insignias as well as the bells and whistles.

I really wasn't thinking about the Escalade. I was thinking of the Deville, STS and Eldorado with the Norstar engines. Escalades are a waste of parts IMO.
