Looking At 2017 DD R/T AWD. Any advice?

Okay I am in the market for a new suv. We just got my wife a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland High Altitude and we LOVE it. Driving it has prompted me to get a new vehicle. I currently have a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Hard Rock that is super cool but uncomfortable and unruly on the highway.

I have narrowed it down to 2 very different vehicles but I like them both very much. Durango r/t and Land Rover lr4. I drove and got numbers on a 2017 r/t that is pretty much loaded completely out. I was wondering what you guys thought of the price. Sticker is 53,265 and they got it to 47,525 and they are giving me a decent number on my wrangler. Is this a good price? Also what is the consensus on the one I picked? Any options I shouldn't get or problems that these typically have? Here is a link to the window sticker

Thanks and looking forward to making a decision soon!

You didn't mention any little ones so I'd pass on the rear DVD system just based on the cost.
I would go for the red interior to add some color inside and it goes well with the Granite paint.

Looks like a good discount on a 2017!

yea my dogs might like the dvd though..lol...I like the red interior but the wife hates it. Also there is only 2 awd r/t's within 100 miles of here with the tech package so I'm limited

do you really NEED AWD... or is it something you just want?

We NEED at least 1 AWD/4x4 vehicle living here in Iowa, but let me tell you.. my RWD Durango is sure a lot more fun to drive when you turn the traction control off!!

Order one and get it exactly the way you want it. Mine only took 29 days from order to delivery to the dealer. I got the same deal as if I bought one off the lot.

Okay well I pulled the trigger today. They offered me 2k more on my trade and I couldn't pass it up. The only option I didn't want is the DVD players. I do need awd as my wife's jgc is a 2wd and we like to go to the beach too much not to have an awd/4wd vehicle. I really like it. Pics to come after I detail it.

    Sweet!!!
The cool thing about those rear DVD players is not only how integrated they are with the seats, but now the wife or you can ride back there during long trips and take in a movie.
