What are some of the best deals out there people have received or heard of for the '15 model year Durangos? Has anyone gotten near invoice or below yet or are they still too new?? Interested to hear as I'm on the cusp of getting one before the end of the year...
Nothing great as far as deals go. I've been looking for one for about 4 months now. Can't decide if I want to go new or used. Hopefully by spring they will have some better deals...
Currently they only have $750 factory rebate.
You can join tread lightly and get a certificate which gets you 1% below invoice.
To get that you have to join at the $100 level...but is worth several thousands depending upon the MSRP of the Durango you choose.
You also still get any factory rebates or incentives, so right now you'd get the additional $750 + any other discounts you qualify for such as Military, college, certificates, ect.
I'm 25 and just finishing up with my bachelor's degree. Think I would qualify for that college discount you're talking about? I can't decide if I should buy a new one or save money and get one used....
Oh, and one more place to check, especially if you want something from stock.
TrueCar.com
If you have a truecar dealer near you the discount from MSRP can be up to about 7% below invoice.
I don't know if any factory rebates can also be applied, but if you can, then that is the best route to take.
Also if you request a brochure from Chrysler on one of their vehicles, they will send you a discount certificate that you can also apply in addition to any other discounts you negotiated. That is usually around $500, but I've also seen $1,000.
Nice. Thanks for the info. Hopefully by January or Feb they will have some college discount. Looks like GM and Ford do. Might be worth telling the dealership I'm doing to buy once of their products if they don't want to match their discounts.
Can you share what dealership you used. I am in the market, been negotiating for a few weeks now. I was offered $1500 (rebate/incentive) below invoice for a 2014 in stock but not on the 2015.
Chrysler offers it too.
Not sure what you're looking at, but go on-line and request a brochure be sent to you.
That way you'll get an additional discount certificate that you can apply at the end on top of any factory or dealer incentives being offered.
I don't think the 500 end of year incentive is for the durango though. I'm planning on waiting until January or February to buy one anyway. Are you positive on the student discount I can't find anything about it online
When I get a Round Tuit I'll see if I can connect with the shop that does the Houston deal.. there are a few other dealers around the country that do deals on GCs, I just don't have enough brain bandwidth to try to haul them over here.. (and this isn't really tomk's place anyway; I just work here..)
That said, it is probably true that if you can find a sane salesperson at a local dealer, you can do as well on your own.
5% below invoice is probably not too bad, depends on what you are looking for..
the factory is shut down right now, and many colors are tight through February.. so my guess is that there aren't a lot of blowouts on 2015s unless you find a dealer that wants a unit to vanish from the lot.
I just ordered a 2015 RT with a 8 week factory order for $42,378 with Uconnect nav option ,premium nappa, tow package , sunroof .. 10% off msrp of $46,875. not too bad for a 2015 I hope. couldn't find a 2014 anywhere for a better price so I settled on 2015.
Looks like a good deal to me especially on a 2015.
The best around here is CarMax. They have 2 2014 R/T's priced $6300 and $6500 below msrp.
