    Sorry I haven't responded sooner. Been kind of a busy week and because of that, I had to reschedule my appt. to next Wednesday, the 24th. I will certainly update you after.

    OP - Just for clarification - this is from dead stop in first gear only, not the 1-2 shift, correct?

    I'm having issues with 2nd to 1st downshifting hard in the 8speed auto. I did the TCM reset and still an issue. Anyone know how to get this to stop!!??

    That is likely the "bump," a notable surge during the 2-1 downshift, well known long time problem, not limited to the Durango. Get used to it since it's not going anywhere...

    No bump in my Citadel...must be a R/T trans tune thing.

    I would be shocked, surprised and bewildered if it's not present. It is subtle enough to easily and unknowingly ignore with your subconscious. But, on the chance that you indeed don't have the issue, it would be great to know what version is running on your TCM. Again, this isn't limited to the Durango, it's an issue with other FCA vehicles with the 8HP70.

    The question still remains, is this the problem that OP blacktopman is dealing with or are we losing focus on the problem initiating this thread?
