    Tire pressure sensor light

So I got my new wheels put on with new tpms. The sensors are dodge part numbers. The tire pressures read on the screen but the tpms light stays on. Would anyone here have any idea why or what the problem would be? Thank you in advance

They aren't the right frequency for your car. It changes every so often and you may have ones transmitting the wrong frequency. Happened to me, my wallet learned the hard way.

+1 get the part numbers off the original sensors to verify that the new ones are compatible.

Also make sure you drive for 20 minutes or so at about 40mph (I think that's the magic, though I didn't check) to make sure the system fully relearns.
    What?

Dumb question, are you going above the ~36psi? Below that, the system stays red and the light will stay on.

Thank you for the replys. I could not get the part number off the original as they were on the factory wheels when I sold them. I did get the number from the dealer, so that is what I ordered and installed. The pressure is sitting 38-40 depending on temperature. Any other ideas?

Does the light flash for a minute before going solid on? that would indicate a malfunction and not low pressure..
    What?

Yes it does flash when the car is started and then solid. Is there a box that controls the sensors? Thanks

So if they are the wrong sensors then why or how do they read the pressure in the tires?

What pressure are the tires set at? if its below I think 24 and above 50 the light will come on not 100% on the exact pressures but I'm close.
