    Correct, its vented.
So it will clear up on its own.
If it doesn't, then you have a problem.

I have a 2015 R/T with less than 4,000 miles. A few weeks ago I noticed my driver side headlight would come on and then shut off. Took it into the dealership and they said the entire headlamp needed to be replaced. They replaced the headlamp and now I'm noticing condensation in it after washing the vehicle. The previous headlamp did NOT do this... the passenger headlamp doesn't do this and ALL of my previous Jeep Grand Cherokee's (I've had several, 2011, 2012(x2), and 2014) did NOT do this. I brought the Dodge into the dealership and they tried to tell me this is normal and they were taking no action. They recommended I call Chrysler HQ and complain, which I'm going to do. This is bullshit.

I can say this as a Mazda rep. Most often than not, there is not a problem with the assembly but most often with the bulb not being seated correctly. I would remove the bulb, let it air out and reset the bulb into the headlamp and make sure it seats correctly.

I'd imagine it's a cap on these lights that makes the seal, but I agree otherwise.

    Headlight condensation problem

Hey everyone I just bought my Durango this week and I have really bad "fogging" on the inside of both my headlight lenses.

Anyone know what could be the problem?

Dealer can look at it, but I think it's normal. Headlights have vent holes in them.

I wish I could have that kind of problem. California is experiencing the greatest drought in 500 years and we could use the moisture.

It is so bad that people are being *encouraged* to pee in the pool.

Well, all the nasty humidity we have been experiencing could have sure fooled me. I can't stand this weather. I'd move back east if I wanted it.

I had the same problem after having the passenger side assembly replaced during a collision repair. I pointed it out to the shop, who advised that some fogging can be normal. Fogging quickly turned to water within the light, which greatly concerned me. At this point Dodge has a new light on order with my name on it.
