Fixed my speakers and replaced the turn signal relay.

This is probably not a big deal to most of you but I'm pretty happy about the repairs I made.

I removed my blown speakers and found that the foam surrounds had just separated from the speaker frame. No holes or anything. So I did the rubber cement fix. I figured I had nothing to loose. I went over the surrounds several times until I had the rubber cement built up pretty good. I let them dry for a while and then reinstalled. Speakers sound great! Bass is back and no rattle/buzz.

Another problem - turn signals have been freezing and not flashing. It doesn't happen all the time but it's starting to get annoying. I found that the problem happens with either the turn signal stalk or with pressing the 4 way hazards button. So I figured it had to be the relay and not the switch. I bought a new green relay from the dealership. Part # 56021915-AA for $39.15. It was a pain to get up under there and pull the old one out. A bunch of wires are blocking it but I did remove the old one and install the new one. It's flashing great now. I'll have to wait and see if the freezing problem is fixed but I'm fairly certain it'll be.

I didn't realize they sell the same relay at the regular auto parts stores. Oh well, I'll know for next time.

good you got that stuff fixed. I ended up just replacing my speakers.

it's always better when you can fix the D yourself. I wish I could do my own tranny, but alas, I'll have to pay?

I know what you mean. I had an exhaust leak due to broken exhaust manifold bolts. That one I had to pay to have fixed.
